NEW TAOISEACH, BRIAN COWEN TD, RECEIVES HIS SEAL OF OFFICE:

7th May 2008 - After being elected Taoiseach na hÉireann, Brian Cowen TD received his seal of office from President Mary McAleese at Áras an Úachtaran. Taoiseach Cowen becomes the 7th Leader of Fianna Fáil and the 12th Taoiseach of Ireland.
